Instead of her to check her life and make amendments, she was going about encouraging young ladies never to engage in those things she was secretly doing.  She didn't open up to anyone even when God sent people to her. She continued as if everything was alright.  She found mercy at the verge of death, though she lost her life.  The same could be said of the young man, Samson.  The fall of Samson didn't start the same day Delilah sold him out through his secrets.
