During my national youth service, we were introduced to many professional courses. I couldn't partake in them due to my other financial involvements in other things.  I hear many people say professional courses don't matter. With God and your B.Sc certificate or its equivalent, you are good to go. Don't mind such people please. It's true with God, you can enter seemingly difficult places to get jobs because with God, nothing is impossible. Also put to rememberance what  Proverbs 22:29(Msg) says - Do you see any truly competent workers? They will serve kings rather than ordinary people.  When you do some professional courses, it boosts your curriculum vitae  and gives you headway than others. You have more chances than those whose curriculum vitae  are just blank. They have refused to learn new things.
