The only prayer he prayed was to die with his enemies. Jesus encourages us to pray so that we don't enter into temptation. A closer look at the mission God called Samson into, we know it is a delicate one which no man can handle successfully except he is a man of unalloyed commitment and devotion to God. A consecrated vessel must know he is a separate entity. It isn't that he is separated from God and his people but he is separated from the world. He will not conform to the world's standard. What then is expected of him? If he is not conforming, he must be transforming by the renewing of his mind. A chosen vessel is a man of the secret place.
