THESE ARE THE THINGS YOU MUST KNOW BEFORE JANUARY ENDS

THESE ARE THE THINGS YOU MUST KNOW BEFORE JANUARY ENDS Some people will be so occupied with this festive season and will still claim they are still in the mood thereby postponing when they need to start praying.  Some will have the believe that the year just started and that they still have the whole ELEVEN more months that can be more than enough to crush their goals. The truth of the matter is that if you are not serious now, you won't be surprised when December comes and you are yet to do anything worthwhile with your life.  Some believe they have to rest for the whole of January. They don't want to get involved in any thing. They have forgotten that early starters have an edge over others in life. They do not understand the concept behind rising up early when others are busy whiling away time.  It's still January, roll up your sleeves and get to work. Do not wait till March before you start crushing your goals.  Do not wait till your most co

GET RID OF THAT RECORD

GET RID OF  THAT RECORD Recently, someone was telling me how her aged father still keeps record of people who had wronged him in the past in spite of his age. According to her, he has a diary where he records the names of anyone who steps on his toes.  It makes me to recollect how mum also told me how  she was a pro at keeping records of wrongs before she got born again. She would write the date, the name of the person and the offence of the person. Thank God, she does not do that anymore. She burnt the books and chose to move on.  I remember the same thing wanted to become my habit several years ago when I kept record of how someone offended me. It's still in my diary of that year. OVERCOMING GUILT This is a follow up to the part of which I asked you to forgive yourself and move ahead in the GET RID OF THAT RECORD post.  If you had read my book; maximizing your single days and beyond, You must have read the part where I said I wanted to miss it during my teenage stage but thank God for God and my mum whose words kept on ringing in my heart. Lest I forget, when you have godly parents, you are favoured.  I did some things then which I am not in anyway proud of. When I sit back to remember those times, not for guilt sake though, I am always like was I alright then sha?  Those times when I didn't understand Romans 8:1, I blamed myself so much. I lived in guilt for sometimes. I couldn't bring myself to telling people what I did. Of course, I wasn't engaged in sex but I was engaged in activities that could lead to sex.  For several years, I blamed myself for being so foolish those times. But a day came that the understanding of
