THE RISING OF MARY
Have you met a woman who is beautiful yet simple? A woman who is eager for change and ready for it. A woman who is yielded to be a vessel of change. Let me introduce to you, Mary, the mother of Jesus our Saviour.
Having witnessed molestations and enslavery towards her town, she has for long hungered for change. There she was, under a tree, quiet, yielded and sensitive. She was visited by the Angel of the Lord who brought the great news to her- You are an agent of change.
The Lord needs your womb to carry the seed that will effect a lasting change. After much questioning, she made a statement of surrender- "Be it unto me according to your word". (Luke 1:26-38)
I know you are aware of the chaos and the darkeness in our world today and you clamour for change, but are you ready to be part of the change? Yes, you pray and ask for revival but are you yielded to the Lord?
Hope your reason for marriage is not just for your selfish desire or you are willing to honor God both in your relationship and marriage? Can the Lord entrust Saviours into your hands as children? Will you be able to nurture a child who will grow into what God has called him or her to do, through intense prayer and the word of God, directing such child in the way of the Lord even in this corrupt world?
The Lord is in need of women like Mary at this time and I know you desire to be one, but you need to be a clean vessel.( Roman 12:1-2) I don't mean you need to be a virgin ( if you are whole, it is good, but if you are not, the Lord is still interested in you, He can wash you and make you whole). If you are clean sexually but in your heart you have many desires that are not yielded to the Lord, you need to submit to the Holy Spirit to wash and sanctify you through the word of God(John 17:17).
It is a heart yielded to the Holy Spirit, a life whose Lord is a Christ that can be used by God as an agent of change. The Lord needs women like Mary who will not be ashamed of Him. Despite the shame of carrying a pregnancy that doesn't belong to her spouse, she still yielded and allowed God to vindicate her.
It's time for women who are willing to give undivided devotion to their Lord to arise!
It's a call to yielded women, who will not because of today's pleasure forfeit God's plan for their lives!
I know you will dare to be one of us,
For we shall be many who the Lord will call BLESSED!
