LADY IN WAITING BY AKINGBALA TEMITOPE

LADY IN WAITING BY AKINGBALA TEMITOPE

Is your biological clock ticking so fast and there is no marital commitment from anyone yet? Are all your friends getting engaged and you wish yours will come anytime soon? Well, I want to encourage you to keep hope alive and make the very best out of your single period. From the scripture in Isaiah 34:16, it says " seek ye out of the book of the lord, and read. No one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate for my mouth it hath commanded it and his spirit it hath gathered them." Now look, in the middle of this line are comforting words from the lord himself saying " none shall want her mate".

It doesn't matter how long you have to wait, it is certain that you will not lack a mate if you can trust God. Also, the last line of that scripture established that by his spirit it shall gather them, not by your reasoning. You are not alone in the journey, He is with you. Sometimes when God wants to come big He comes late. So the question now should be as a lady in waiting, how do I make my waiting period interesting and fulfilling.

1) Be intentional about waiting purposely: Develop a mindset that count it a privilege and be thankful for the opportunity to discover yourself and time to achieve more. Stop doing relationship as trial and error thing and seek the first thing first "his kingdom".

2) Wait in his presence: Before eve was brought to Adam, she was in the presence of God undergoing the making needed for her to be a suitable helpmeet. The best place to wait is on God, in his presence, fellowshipping with his spirit and his word.In holy abandonment, Beholding his glory and being thereby transform into his very image and likeness and the nature needed for the next phase of life. You become an adorned bride with the inward beauty of Godliness and a burning light that heals the world inflictions.

3) The art of appreciation and self love: you can't give what you don't have. Love yourself them you will love others better. How often do you forgive yourself and let go of your own hurt? Appreciate the gift you are to humanity, being single does not mean you are unfortunate. Make looking good your business and celebrate yourself. Avoid going on a guilt trip, life is too sweet to waste time on regret. You are a gold to be mine, at the right time, the real man will discover your worth and pay the price of commitment. Go on a self date and love every moment.

3) Cultivate your own garden and get a life: instead of waiting for someone to bring you flower, cultivate your garden. Cultivate your spirit, soul and body. Develop value that outlast you. Invest into your purpose and call. Build capacity, spiritual, emotional, mental and physical capacity. Engage your gift and talent to serving God and serving others. Be the kind of lady everyone wants to associate their dreams with.

4) Give your self to others and love them: Having cultivate your garden, then release the fruit to others. Help someone overcome what you have overcome, make someone's burden easier. Start an NGO if you have passion for one. Go on a love visit to the orphanage home. Strengthen the feeble knees and be a blessings. While serving others will often find our soulmates, a good example is biblical Rebecca and the camel encounter.

5) Be contented: godliness with contentment is great gain. Don't live above your means. To try to be another person could be frustrating. Many ladies while single try to live above their means and end up looking for men that will be burden bearer which set them up for wrong relationships.

6) Respect people's relationship: stop making undefined friendship with married men, becoming intruder in their home. Respect their privacy and avoid selfish desire, envy and jealousy.
Remain blessed. You are deeply loved and highly valued.

NOT WITHOUT A FATHER

NOT WITHOUT A FATHER For those who are so close to me, they will know I rarely mention my Dad. He's alive and healthy.  I grew up not knowing my Dad. I grew up not knowing what fatherly love meant. My Dad is very much alive but we are far from each other. I was around 11 years or so before he came looking for me. First of all, I am grateful to God for giving me my mum. She went through a lot raising me.  So, while I was growing up, I envied those who talked about their dad so much. I wish I could be like them. I wish I could have someone who would be able to show me love. I didn't know fatherly love not until when I met my Spiritual father in Ibadan in 2010. He received me with open arms.  For several years, I lived with hurt and hatred in my heart. I cried bitterly most times when I reminisce about so many things.  A day came when I heard God said to me"For this reason were you separated from your mother's womb, you are not accidental"

SEX DOES NOT HAPPEN BY ACCIDENT

SEX DOES NOT HAPPEN BY ACCIDENT  A whole lot of things must have been conceived  in your mind before indulging in sex.  That act you carried out was as a result of a lot of mental works that you have carried out in your mind before you finally carried it out.  Here are things to know before sex can actually happen between two people outside wedlock, rape situations excluded please.  1. Men generally, are moved by what they see. So, when a guy visits you and the next thing you do is  to expose your cleavages, wear bum shorts, with just the two of you behind closed doors, honestly speaking, that guy would have a whole lot of dirty things going on in his mind. You are inviting him either consciously or unconsciously.  2. Women generally, are turned on by sweet words spoken to them by men. Yes, we love it when we hear how amazing we are, how pretty we are. When a particular guy showers you with incessant praises, you tend to fall in love with such and this may br

THE KID'S LOVE STORY (CHAPTER 1)

PREPARING TO BE A HELP MEET BY DEBI PEARL  THE KID'S LOVE STORY (CHAPTER 1) Moral to the story: God wants, no, He needs us to pray.  CAUTION: Don't pray amiss.  The kid's love story is that of the author herself; Debi Pearl. She had just turned 13 when she first saw her man in a program  and immediately she knew he was the right one for her. Of course the man didn't notice her not until many years later. Why would God bypass a guy of at least 21 years old, and come to a kid of 13 years old telling her he was the one she was going to marry. Sounds weird right?  God does not do anything without a reason. He is the God who knows the end, right from the beginning.  When the young Debi got home, she told her mum, and her mum began to follow her up to always pray for the man of God. The young Debi took it upon herself, praying for the man of God. She wasn't praying to be his wife, neither was she praying for him to notice her. She was just
