STEWARDING THE PRESENCE BY TRAILBLAZER AREGBESOLA BUNMI
"Once a Man knows how to steward the presence of God, every other thing comes at the tap of the finger." Apostle Awe Ayo
The presence of the Lord cannot be substituted with anything else. You can't host what or who you don't treasure.
Put a man of the presence in a secluded place where it seems there is no light, no hope and no future and you will see him flourishing. He can be likened to the palm tree in that book of psalms which flourishes all day long. He does not know dryness because he is connected to the source. He is a man everyone envies. With God, he is sufficient and lacks nothing.
Reverse is the case for a man who lacks the presence. He is empty even if you put him in a mansion . Though he lacks nothing but he owns nothing at the same time. He complains about everything. All things seem to be against him. Such a man struggles in getting things done.
Do you know what differentiated Joseph from other slaves when he was sold out into a strange land, it was the presence of God. He carried God and so he found favour with everyone and he prospered in whatever he laid his hands upon. When Potiphar's wife wanted to render him worthless by asking him to have fun with her, he said he couldn't do that and sin against God. He never substituted the presence for anything. Though he was thrown in the prison, the presence still distinguished him. He became the solution to their problems.
Just like seedlings which have the potential to grow when watered and tended, the presence of God can be cultivated. Engaging in things that can make the presence grow is vital.
A man of the presence is needed in this generation. A man who is clothed with the magnificent glory of God. A man who will never trade the presence of God for anything. A man who is able to steward the presence of God.
"Until God finds your vessel a place to rest in, God cannot in and make habitation." Pastor Tolu Agboola
When God finds us worthy to host His presence, He commits Himself to us. For us to host the presence of God, for God to find a place in us to dwell, we must rid ourselves of every thing that antagonizes His presence.
This could be friends who do not have the mind of Christ. This could be images that dirty our minds, it could even be thoughts that are not fashioned in the way of God. It could be anything. You know that thing you engage in and it seems you are weakened. God is ever ready to help you get rid of them. His strength is made perfect in our weaknesses. I beseech you to let go and let God find in you a holy habitation for Him to dwell.
