That you are a writer does not mean you don't have your weaknesses. You haven't reached perfection yet, you are improving day by day.
That you are a writer does not mean you have stopped growing, please do not peg your growth. You need God like every other person. Read your Bible and pray everyday.
That you are a writer does not write off the place of cultivating relationships with others. You've got to relate. If you don't, people will tag you as proud and you may not be able to reach their heart. In relating though, discernment is crucial.
That you are a writer does not mean you can't be corrected any longer. You should be opened to criticisms, corrections and should be ready for rebuke at all times. Those things are meant to build you up if taken with a good heart.
That you are a writer does not mean you don't need to read other writer's articles. You don't know everything, still follow other writers pursuing the same vision and learn. You can be blessed by their write-ups, too. Common, don't be proud.
That you are a writer does not mean you are the best for the assignment. But God has chosen you to be one of His pens which He could use to inscribe His life on people's heart. Please submit to God.
That you are a writer does not mean you can't be faced with challenges on your write-ups. In short, you will be tested on what you have written down. So, get ready for that.
