THE PROPHET TYPE OF MAN (CHAPTER 3)

Give your man all the support he needs.

PREPARING TO BE A HELP MEET BY DEBI PEARL

THE PROPHET TYPE OF MAN (CHAPTER 3)

Moral to the story: Be flexible for your man.
A caution : Your most important job as a prophet's wife is keeping chaste and common sense attitude and conversation (not bad-mouthing folks).  Without it, your marriage will be miserable.

In this chapter, Debi began to talk about the types of men we have. She divided them into the Prophet type, the Priest and the King. The first one we are considering today is the Prophet.

"As a man moves into his late twenties and early thirties his image will become much more pronounced." Debi Pearl

Your ability to know who your man is, what he wants and how to serve him will bring fulfillment and bliss to you.
Give your man all the supports he needs ranging from emotional to spiritual support.

"The prophet or visionary  type of  man are majorly street preachers, political activists, organizers and instigators of any front-line social issue. They love to challenge the status quo. They are consumed with a need to communicate with words, music, writing, art, or actions. Good hearted prophet's can be a lot of fun. They are never Mr Dull. They can love with a passion and be aggressively loyal to their friends and family. However, if they are not balanced, these prophet /Visionaty types may get fanatically focuses on one of two weird issues, and in the process, upset the whole family. " Debi Pearl

The prophet type can be so romantic that you will see yourself as the most important person on earth. However , he might focus on some projects sometimes and make you feel abandoned.

What do you do at that moment? If you are the clingy type of wife who does not have life goals, you will feel depressed that he is not giving you attention as he ought to. That is why you must not be the  lazy type who doesn't have anything doing.

"You need a life, a vibrant life, before your man comes on the scene. A clingy useless wife that lacks drive, goals, ambitions, or dreams is just that useless." Debi Pearl

If you will be getting married to a prophet, you must be ready to support his goals, give him full attention, praying for him so that he may be focused.

"Often the difference between a productive prophet and a destructive prophet is a good, supportive, stable woman. An unwise wife with negative words can turn a prophet into an Antichrist, an inventor into a destroyer. Every prophet needs a good, wise, prudent, stable wife who has a positive outlook on life." Debi Pearl

Do not speak negatively into his life. Honour him and you will see your home becoming a haven. If you are not the wise type, you may not know how to help him. Ask for wisdom to be a help meet for your husband's needs.

"For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile..." 1 Peter 3:1

Refrain your tongue from speaking evil

You as a prophet wife must be someone who does not take offence easily. Due to the nature of your man, he might blow  matters out of proportion. So, you as a wife must guide your tongue so that your words do not send in fiery darts of the enemies to him.

Lessons learnt :
  • Get busy with your life. Don't be a clingy wife. Be productive.

  • Understanding who your man is will teach you how to serve him honourably.

  • When he shares issues with you, or how he feels about a matter, don't throw water on his fire. Listen attentively and know how to present your views with wisdom.

  • Most importantly, communicate your heart to God. Pray for your man that he may be who God what's him to be. Pray for him not to lose focus.
You can also share other lessons you learnt from the review. Thank you.

NOT WITHOUT A FATHER

NOT WITHOUT A FATHER For those who are so close to me, they will know I rarely mention my Dad. He's alive and healthy.  I grew up not knowing my Dad. I grew up not knowing what fatherly love meant. My Dad is very much alive but we are far from each other. I was around 11 years or so before he came looking for me. First of all, I am grateful to God for giving me my mum. She went through a lot raising me.  So, while I was growing up, I envied those who talked about their dad so much. I wish I could be like them. I wish I could have someone who would be able to show me love. I didn't know fatherly love not until when I met my Spiritual father in Ibadan in 2010. He received me with open arms.  For several years, I lived with hurt and hatred in my heart. I cried bitterly most times when I reminisce about so many things.  A day came when I heard God said to me"For this reason were you separated from your mother's womb, you are not accidental"

SEX DOES NOT HAPPEN BY ACCIDENT

SEX DOES NOT HAPPEN BY ACCIDENT  A whole lot of things must have been conceived  in your mind before indulging in sex.  That act you carried out was as a result of a lot of mental works that you have carried out in your mind before you finally carried it out.  Here are things to know before sex can actually happen between two people outside wedlock, rape situations excluded please.  1. Men generally, are moved by what they see. So, when a guy visits you and the next thing you do is  to expose your cleavages, wear bum shorts, with just the two of you behind closed doors, honestly speaking, that guy would have a whole lot of dirty things going on in his mind. You are inviting him either consciously or unconsciously.  2. Women generally, are turned on by sweet words spoken to them by men. Yes, we love it when we hear how amazing we are, how pretty we are. When a particular guy showers you with incessant praises, you tend to fall in love with such and this may br

THE KID'S LOVE STORY (CHAPTER 1)

PREPARING TO BE A HELP MEET BY DEBI PEARL  THE KID'S LOVE STORY (CHAPTER 1) Moral to the story: God wants, no, He needs us to pray.  CAUTION: Don't pray amiss.  The kid's love story is that of the author herself; Debi Pearl. She had just turned 13 when she first saw her man in a program  and immediately she knew he was the right one for her. Of course the man didn't notice her not until many years later. Why would God bypass a guy of at least 21 years old, and come to a kid of 13 years old telling her he was the one she was going to marry. Sounds weird right?  God does not do anything without a reason. He is the God who knows the end, right from the beginning.  When the young Debi got home, she told her mum, and her mum began to follow her up to always pray for the man of God. The young Debi took it upon herself, praying for the man of God. She wasn't praying to be his wife, neither was she praying for him to notice her. She was just
