A man full of envy is a potential murderer. He is full of all evil. There is nothing he can't do to satisfy himself

That desire to see all others fail is nothing but evil. That hatred that springs up in you when you see others succeed is evil.

When envy is left unchecked, it has the ability to do evil. Teach us oh Lord to be contented with what you have given to us without comparing ourselves with someone else.

An envious man is an angry man. He can never be happy when his counterpart succeeds. Though he pretends to be, his motive is not hidden.

Godliness with contentment is a great gain. Be contented with what you have. Someone else is praying to be like you.

Love does not envy. 1 Corinthians 13:4

Let love find expression in you. Your time is at hand. Rejoice for your time is at hand but at God's appointed time.

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. James 3:16
