FLESH SHALL NOT HAVE DOMINION OVER YOU BY OLUWABUNMI AREGBESOLA

FLESH SHALL NOT HAVE DOMINION OVER YOU BY OLUWABUNMI AREGBESOLA

It is true we can deny this flesh food for sometime if it does not have dominion over us but reverse is the case for that man who is under the dominion of the flesh. His body dictates to him and show him 101 ways why he doesn't need to fast.

Don't blame that lady who fornicates at every available opportunity. Even when she decides not to fornicate, she finds herself in the act. Simply put, she is under the control of flesh.

That fellow who is filled with hatred, envy and jealousy towards his neighbour is under the influence of the flesh. Flesh will never be contented. He will never love to see others ahead of him.

That girl child's truancy cannot be far fetched. She is under the dominion of flesh. Flesh will never submit.

If you are under the dominion of flesh, you are carnally minded. To be carnally minded is death and death is separation from God. A man who follows the dictate of the flesh cannot please God for God is a Spirit and those who must worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Do you see a man who is under the dictate of the flesh, he will always misbehave no matter how hard he tries. When he tries to do right, he ends up doing wrong.

Denying the flesh of its excesses is key. When you want to fast and it says you may die in the process, tell it you can't die. Doing that, your spirit will gain ascendancy over the flesh.

"Walk in the spirit and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh". Galatians 5:16. Walking in the spirit simply put means obedience to the Spirit's leading.

The word of God is Spirit and life. Feed on it. When you feed too much on things around instead of the word of God, you will always struggle with flesh.

THE POWER OF IMPURE THOUGHTS BY OLUWABUNMI AREGBESOLA

THE POWER OF IMPURE THOUGHTS BY OLUWABUNMI AREGBESOLA "When a man constantly feeds on impure substances, he is simply feeding his heart with garbage." Impure thoughts are powerful such that they render you incapacitated in the things of the spirit.  They have a way of captivating your heart and making you see no need for pressing deep into the realities of the spirit.  Those articles you have downloaded and digested can't add any substance of value to you, but would rather take away vital substance from you.  Those disgusting discussions you have engaged yourself in will only impair your vision.  Show me a man who has been feeding his heart with garbage, and I will show you a man who has been held captive by this garbage.  You can't continue to sow impure ideas and expect to reap pure meditation.  A man who engages himself in impure thoughts would only be a stumbling block to his growth.  No wonder you have been entan...

NOT WITHOUT A FATHER

NOT WITHOUT A FATHER For those who are so close to me, they will know I rarely mention my Dad. He's alive and healthy.  I grew up not knowing my Dad. I grew up not knowing what fatherly love meant. My Dad is very much alive but we are far from each other. I was around 11 years or so before he came looking for me. First of all, I am grateful to God for giving me my mum. She went through a lot raising me.  So, while I was growing up, I envied those who talked about their dad so much. I wish I could be like them. I wish I could have someone who would be able to show me love. I didn't know fatherly love not until when I met my Spiritual father in Ibadan in 2010. He received me with open arms.  For several years, I lived with hurt and hatred in my heart. I cried bitterly most times when I reminisce about so many things.  A day came when I heard God said to me"For this reason were you separated from your mother's womb, you are not accidental...

THE KID'S LOVE STORY (CHAPTER 1)

PREPARING TO BE A HELP MEET BY DEBI PEARL  THE KID'S LOVE STORY (CHAPTER 1) Moral to the story: God wants, no, He needs us to pray.  CAUTION: Don't pray amiss.  The kid's love story is that of the author herself; Debi Pearl. She had just turned 13 when she first saw her man in a program  and immediately she knew he was the right one for her. Of course the man didn't notice her not until many years later. Why would God bypass a guy of at least 21 years old, and come to a kid of 13 years old telling her he was the one she was going to marry. Sounds weird right?  God does not do anything without a reason. He is the God who knows the end, right from the beginning.  When the young Debi got home, she told her mum, and her mum began to follow her up to always pray for the man of God. The young Debi took it upon herself, praying for the man of God. She wasn't praying to be his wife, neither was she praying for him to notice her. She...
