HOPE YOU KNOW YOU DON'T HAVE AN EXCUSE? BY OLUWABUNMI AREGBESOLA

REFLECTION:
When my friend gives me excuses why he won't get in touch with me, I simply tell him you create time for someone you love, no matter how tight your schedule is. This is simply true, hope you know? Somewhere somehow, we will always create some time for people that are important to us.


"That you are now so occupied with a lot of activities should not be the excuse for why you don't have time for God anymore. It simply means God is not the first on your list or you don't see Him as being important."

There is no how occupied you may be that you won't find time for your loved ones.
If you love God, no amount of responsibility can take His place in your heart.
You don't have an excuse for your negligence!

Thank God you now have many children you cater for because sometime ago, you were questioning God why He hasn't blessed you with children.



Thank God you control millions in your account because you have always complained that the reason why you haven't been active in church is because you are poor.



Thank God you are now an employer of labour because you have been praying to God all this while that if only He could do that for you, you would have His time.



But if I may ask you? I hope those things are not the reasons why you neglect your personal fellowship now.
I hope they are not the reasons why you give
 excuses for not having time for God again.


If God is the giver of time, I think He deserves part of that time, too.
These days, you go 24 hours a day without having time for God yet you say God understands.
What is there to understand, sir?


Engaging in activities and neglecting the secret place will definitely rob you of His presence.
We know you are busy doing program from here to there but where is the impact of the program, ma?
You keep struggling and rolling your shirts on one demon simply because your secret place is empty. We can't find you there.
You make noises about, carry big bibles and organises different programs but who influences the program?
The reason why you keep complaining that you are too busy to engage God cannot be far fetched. It is simply because your strength lies somewhere else.


Do you want to keep running after winds?
Do you want to keep wasting your time?
Do you want to keep dwelling on past glories?
Do you want to keep struggling over little foxes?
Do you want to keep engaging in mere activities?
Then keep on giving excuses.


But I will remind you that you don't have an excuse.
Much more than before, please enjoy fellowship this month, don't endure it.
Therein your freshness lies.
