YOU ARE ONLY A YOUTH BY OLUWABUNMI AREGBESOLA

YOU ARE ONLY A YOUTH BY OLUWABUNMI AREGBESOLA

Reflection

It was on Sunday during the service that I saw an old man walked into the service. His face was all wrinkled, nothing to attract anyone, nothing fascinating about him. The Holy spirit just ministered to my heart: "This man was once a youth like you but now he is old. If he didn't spend his youthful days judiciously, he can't reverse it now that he is old. A time is coming when you will also come to his stage." I felt like crying when I heard this.

What you spend most of your time on now will tell in the future .

You will surely reap what you have sown now in the future even if you don't want to.

See how beautiful you are my dear! The secret is just because you are still a youth.

Don't worry, time will tell on your beauty.
Your clothes that perfectly fit you now will no longer matter when you are no longer a youth.
See, that original diastematic teeth of yours will soon feel compelled to be widened due to the loss of some teeth.

There you are, you are energetic!

Smiles, you are the chief commandant now!
Don't worry, it's your time.
You are full of youthful exuberance.
You have exhilarating experience.
Your dressing can throw a man off balance, kudos to you my fellow youth.
The reason is because you are still a youth.

Youths are full of energy.

They are the decision makers of any society.
They are the ones in charge of all evil vices.
Youths are inquisitive, they want to know the why and how of everything.

The time is coming friend that your youthful days will be passed.

Hmmm, please ask grandma if she was once a youth like you. We both know she would tell you interesting stories.
The time is coming when those excessive shoppings will stop.
The time is coming when you will lose that physique that is more important than anything.
The time is coming when all your strength will be gone.

The time is drawing nearer when you will reap what you sowed in the days of your youth.

The time is drawing nearer when you will become like that old man even though you didn't bargain for it.

Now that you are only a youth!

It is time to use that energy for the advancement of the kingdom.
Now is the time to use that wealth of knowledge to bless others.
It is time to grow up.
It is time to seek God, I mean your Creator.
You can still do prayer walk now that you are only a youth.
Your eyes are not dim to study the word.

Joseph was only a youth when he decided, with the help of God, that he won't surrender to Portiphar's wife.

Daniel was only a youth when he made the decision that he won't defile himself with the king's delicacies.
Esther was only a youth when she didn't defile herself though she was in a strange land and an orphan, for that matter.
David was only a youth when he defeated the giant Goliath.

Samson couldn't fulfill the purpose for which he was brought forth since he decided to ruin it on the laps of a strange woman.

You are a mighty weapon in the hands of God.

Why will you waste your youthfulness?
Why will you continue this way when you know destruction is imminent?
Don't be deceived that you can get away with it if you spent your youthful years recklessly.
No sir, it is not so!

It is time you arose and began to make good use of your youthfulness, instead of wasting away.

Please expunge those evil thoughts! You are only a youth and that was why you were able to pay rapt attention to reading this post to the end.

NOT WITHOUT A FATHER

NOT WITHOUT A FATHER For those who are so close to me, they will know I rarely mention my Dad. He's alive and healthy.  I grew up not knowing my Dad. I grew up not knowing what fatherly love meant. My Dad is very much alive but we are far from each other. I was around 11 years or so before he came looking for me. First of all, I am grateful to God for giving me my mum. She went through a lot raising me.  So, while I was growing up, I envied those who talked about their dad so much. I wish I could be like them. I wish I could have someone who would be able to show me love. I didn't know fatherly love not until when I met my Spiritual father in Ibadan in 2010. He received me with open arms.  For several years, I lived with hurt and hatred in my heart. I cried bitterly most times when I reminisce about so many things.  A day came when I heard God said to me"For this reason were you separated from your mother's womb, you are not accidental...

THE KID'S LOVE STORY (CHAPTER 1)

PREPARING TO BE A HELP MEET BY DEBI PEARL  THE KID'S LOVE STORY (CHAPTER 1) Moral to the story: God wants, no, He needs us to pray.  CAUTION: Don't pray amiss.  The kid's love story is that of the author herself; Debi Pearl. She had just turned 13 when she first saw her man in a program  and immediately she knew he was the right one for her. Of course the man didn't notice her not until many years later. Why would God bypass a guy of at least 21 years old, and come to a kid of 13 years old telling her he was the one she was going to marry. Sounds weird right?  God does not do anything without a reason. He is the God who knows the end, right from the beginning.  When the young Debi got home, she told her mum, and her mum began to follow her up to always pray for the man of God. The young Debi took it upon herself, praying for the man of God. She wasn't praying to be his wife, neither was she praying for him to notice her. She...

LET THEM KNOW YOUR STAND BY TRAILBLAZER AREGBESOLA BUNMI

LET THEM KNOW YOUR STAND BY TRAILBLAZER AREGBESOLA BUNMI While I was publicizing my new book (Maximizing your single days and beyond) on the social media, I said I was single. Though I was seeing it from a different point of view due to the information I wanted to pass across about the book, some misquoted me. One of the people I respected so much said, it was better I add my engagement status to save myself from unnecessary distraction.   I saw messages popping in. Messages like, "hello babe", someone even said, "don't worry, even if you have nobody, I will take you in." I was like "I don enter am. " Thank God for wisdom in attending to the issue. Later added my engagement status to the article.  Majority of those who are shy in declaring their engagement status when asked is because they are still looking for a better option. They are not satisfied with what they have. They are in search of someone better.  If what brought ...
