BREAKING DOWN AGAIN?LORD WHY ME? BY TRAILBLAZER AREGBESOLA BUNMI

The first thing to bear in mind is that God does not punish His children with sicknesses. When you fall sick at every available opportunity, please check out these things in your life and adjust.

1. ABUSE OF THE TONGUE
2. ABUSE OF THE BODY
3. UNFORGIVING ATTITUDE

1.ABUSE OF THE TONGUE
For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: 1 Peter 3:10

When you see a man who is constantly speaking ill of others, he can never enjoy good health. He will always see himself battling with different forms of diseases. He will always break down no matter how hard he tries to stay healthy.

When some are beginning to observe some symptoms, the way they will magnify the issue, you will even be afraid. Such is only confessing wrongly. Instead of exalting God, he is busy magnifying the problem. When you ask them if they are improving, they say they are not. Confess positively with your tongue. Your tongue is a well of life.

When you correct someone who abuses the use of this tongue and he tells you he is in charge of his tongue, therefore he has the freedom to use it anyhow, please pray for such and do not relent over him because our words have the ability to either make or mar someone, build or pull down.

Abuse of the tongue is not healthy for us as Christians. The words of our mouths should bring healing to the world and not otherwise. The words of our mouths should bring great things to us. God should be magnified by the substance that comes out of our mouth.

Proverbs 12:18 says, "There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health". So, you can't disobey God in one place and choose to obey Him in another place. If we must enjoy life, total obedience to the word of God is essential.

His word says in Ecclesiastes 10:8,
He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.

It is true God says in Exodus 23:25 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

 His word also says in Isaiah that By His stripes you were healed and every other Scripture you can lay hold on that pertains to healing. Without mincing words, those Scriptures cannot come to pass in your life even if you confess them million times inasmuch you still abuse the use of the tongue because God will never contradict His word. What's worrying me? Overfamiliarity. I have been very amazed when people give testimony of how a man of God prays for them and they are healed. The wife of the same  man of God is at home sick but due to the unbelief of the wife and the familiarity, she doesn't believe in her husband's prayers and so she will remain in that state.  So many opportunities some of us have missed because we are proving too familiar with our friends.
