I HAVE ALL IT TAKES AND I DON'T THINK GOD IS NEEDED BY OLUWABUNMI AREGBESOLA

Reflection

*Some years ago, while I was seeking admission into the university, I could read for long hours thinking that alone could grant me a good success.

I didn't think that God would be needed once I am able to master my book.
Don't forget, that is necessary, too, but when God factor is not there, you can't have a good success.
I failed sometimes, while at other times, I wasn't given any admission.
It got to a year that I shifted my gaze from myself to God.
I submitted my ability to God's sovereignty.
And then, I read and I also didn't lean on my own understanding.
To cut the long story short, I was given the admission when I least expected it.
I couldn't boast any longer since I knew God did it. Glory to God!*

*So many of us make God our last option or an alternative when other options have failed.
God shouldn't be our last option but the only option we have *

*God will never wrestle with man to submit his sensuous wisdom to Him and learn to trust only in Jesus who is the wisdom and the power of God*

*God is not interested in people who is still gat all the strength but those who are dependent on him.

*When you still have the capacity to take, even as little as 1% of God's glory, He won't share His glory with any man. You can go on and have it*

*If the only time you pray is when the issues of life sap you of your strength and toss you about, then you are proud because it simply implies you are self-sufficient.*

*We can't  use God to get on in our ways*

*Not until we are drained of our strength, the journey with God hasn't started *

Are you there and you have all it takes to be successful in your field but you don't see any reason why you need God?
It will be clear very soon that you are only gathering rubbish.

Are you there and the only time you remember there is one God somewhere is when your exam is nearer? Hmmm, God cannot be mocked.
He wants fellowship with you everyday and not only during exams.

Are you there and the only time you remember to pray is when you need something from God?
True sons are not only interested in getting things from their fathers. They also want fellowship.

Are you there and you call your marriage a 'successful one' but God is absent, it is only a mirage.
Don't wait till storms arise before you know that God is indispensable.

You can't continue this way friend!
God cannot be mocked.
Whatsoever a man sows, that also shall he reap.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart.
Do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
and He shall direct your path.

God desires true worshippers that would worship Him in spirit and in truth.

NOT WITHOUT A FATHER

NOT WITHOUT A FATHER For those who are so close to me, they will know I rarely mention my Dad. He's alive and healthy.  I grew up not knowing my Dad. I grew up not knowing what fatherly love meant. My Dad is very much alive but we are far from each other. I was around 11 years or so before he came looking for me. First of all, I am grateful to God for giving me my mum. She went through a lot raising me.  So, while I was growing up, I envied those who talked about their dad so much. I wish I could be like them. I wish I could have someone who would be able to show me love. I didn't know fatherly love not until when I met my Spiritual father in Ibadan in 2010. He received me with open arms.  For several years, I lived with hurt and hatred in my heart. I cried bitterly most times when I reminisce about so many things.  A day came when I heard God said to me"For this reason were you separated from your mother's womb, you are not accidental...

THE KID'S LOVE STORY (CHAPTER 1)

PREPARING TO BE A HELP MEET BY DEBI PEARL  THE KID'S LOVE STORY (CHAPTER 1) Moral to the story: God wants, no, He needs us to pray.  CAUTION: Don't pray amiss.  The kid's love story is that of the author herself; Debi Pearl. She had just turned 13 when she first saw her man in a program  and immediately she knew he was the right one for her. Of course the man didn't notice her not until many years later. Why would God bypass a guy of at least 21 years old, and come to a kid of 13 years old telling her he was the one she was going to marry. Sounds weird right?  God does not do anything without a reason. He is the God who knows the end, right from the beginning.  When the young Debi got home, she told her mum, and her mum began to follow her up to always pray for the man of God. The young Debi took it upon herself, praying for the man of God. She wasn't praying to be his wife, neither was she praying for him to notice her. She...

LET THEM KNOW YOUR STAND BY TRAILBLAZER AREGBESOLA BUNMI

LET THEM KNOW YOUR STAND BY TRAILBLAZER AREGBESOLA BUNMI While I was publicizing my new book (Maximizing your single days and beyond) on the social media, I said I was single. Though I was seeing it from a different point of view due to the information I wanted to pass across about the book, some misquoted me. One of the people I respected so much said, it was better I add my engagement status to save myself from unnecessary distraction.   I saw messages popping in. Messages like, "hello babe", someone even said, "don't worry, even if you have nobody, I will take you in." I was like "I don enter am. " Thank God for wisdom in attending to the issue. Later added my engagement status to the article.  Majority of those who are shy in declaring their engagement status when asked is because they are still looking for a better option. They are not satisfied with what they have. They are in search of someone better.  If what brought ...
